AMPWR Technologies is creating DistroDesigner: Automated designs for connecting buildings to the electrical grid
DistroDesigner designs a building’s grid connection through the use of ten proprietary engines. They calculate the development’s load, find the overhead and underground infrastructure around the site, and design the connection against the utility’s own standards. The same engines serve two products, one for each side of the connection.
For developers, during pre-construction. A due diligence report on how the building would connect to the grid, the new infrastructure required, the scope the developer will carry, and potential conflicts. This lets developers assess how the electrical connection can impact their project’s feasibility before construction, where it can often be too late.
